You wrote a few paragraphs before that VCs look to their own circle or people who can manipulate their way into a VC/Ivy League network. How could you possibly find “the very best entrepreneurship talent” if you’re only looking in such a small population of interconnected people?

I think the better way to say is “VCs like pattern matching. But only in a really rudimentary, non-quantified and non exhaustive way that doesn’t require a lot of time, research or requirement to look for new patterns.”
